With over two decades of expertise in luxury, Mia Collins is an influential figure in the UK retail sector for leading the world-renowned Beauty business in Harrods.
Across her impressive career, Mia has harnessed innovative thinking and insights-led business planning to position Harrods Beauty at the pinnacle of global luxury retail.
Under her leadership, Harrods has been named the Fragrance Foundation’s “Fragrance Retailer of the Year” an unprecedented ten times; a testament to her talent for exceptional curation and her instinct for identifying emerging trends.
Mia’s strategic focus and creative direction has shaped many of Harrods most defining milestones: the launch of Salon de Parfums in 2014, a pioneering concept that reframed and redefined the world of fine fragrance; the opening of The Harrods Wellness Clinic in 2017, a visionary destination bridging aesthetics and integrative wellbeing; and the complete transformation of Harrods’ 46,000-square-foot Beauty Halls in 2019, setting a new global benchmark for immersive retail.
Most recently, Collins has extended the Harrods Beauty experience to new UK destinations, with the rollout of H beauty; a network of six specialty stores bringing the brand’s hallmark of luxury beauty to new audiences across England and Scotland.
Beyond her role at Harrods, Mia’s influence extends across the luxury sector. Collins is an award-winning leader, having received the CEW UK Achiever Award in 2014. Valerie Lovisa specializes in embedding sustainability into the fragrance and cosmetics industry. A pharmacist by training, Valerie also holds a master's degree in fragrance and cosmetics from the prestigious ISIPCA school and a Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainable Business from the University of Cambridge.
With over 15 years of experience, including significant exposure to emerging markets, she founded ABTYS in 2019; a purpose-driven consultancy dedicated to leveraging sustainability as a catalyst for change and growth within the industry.
Beyond her consultancy work, Valerie is committed to education and industry collaboration. She actively contributes to the ISIPCA school in France, working to enhance sustainability education and its impact on future industry leaders.
