Important Exhibitor Warning
To protect the privacy of our stakeholders, Messe Frankfurt Middle East GmbH does not sell attendee or exhibitor list for any of our events. Email solicitations from 3rd parties claiming to offer access to names or contacts from the “attendee database” are completely fraudulent and are not associated with Messe Frankfurt Middle East GmbH in any way.
If you receive an email from any company claiming they have access to attendee lists for any of our events, this is false. They do not have permission to use our brand or sell such lists. Please ignore these emails and report them to your local trading standards agency.
Practical Checks for Your Exhibitor Contact Details
To make sure your exhibitor contact info is accurate and your marketing preferences are set the way you want, please do the following:
- Check your contact info
- Make sure the name, email, and phone number you’ve listed for marketing are correct and actively monitored. Keeping your contact info accurate and checking your settings regularly will help you avoid surprises and ensure smooth communication before, during, and after the event.
- Understand how your info is used
- Your company information will be made available on the exhibitor directory. This includes your company name, website, “About Us” section, company address, social media pages, stand and hall number, and product listings. Visitors and other stakeholders can browse this directory to learn more about your company and offerings.
- In addition, your marketing contact details, along with company name, exhibiting staff members, company profile, and product offerings, will be made available to show visitors only through our event app.
- Our Event app is the platform we use to connect visitors and exhibitors. Visitors can browse exhibitor profiles, request meetings, and express interest in specific products or services. This helps exhibitors identify potential leads who are genuinely interested in meeting them.
- Review visibility settings
- Confirm which details you’ve chosen to display publicly and what should remain private.
- Set your preferences
- Make sure your opt-in/opt-out selections are up to date so you only receive relevant communications.
- Quick practical steps
- Review past communications to see what types of messages exhibitors usually receive.
- Update your details whenever there are staff or role changes.
- Stick to approved suppliers
- Only engage with the pre-approved suppliers listed on your event account. This ensures communications are trusted and avoids spam. To view the full list of our pre-approved suppliers, you can access the list through the Exhibitor Portal or by contacting our operations team on operations.dubai@uae.messefrankfurt.com
Cybercrime Warning
Fraudsters have sometimes sent manipulated invoices from email addresses that look very similar to those of Messe Frankfurt Middle East. Often, it’s just a single letter that’s different or the name arranged slightly differently. Before paying any invoice, always check the sender’s address carefully and verify that the account details are correct.
How to Spot a Phishing Email
- Check the Sender's Email Address:
- Look for misspellings or unusual domain names (e.g., "@messfrankfurt.com" or “gmail.com” instead of "@<country_subdomain>.messefrankfurt.com"). If the email is from someone in the company, make sure you click on the person’s name in the To field and check the sender’s email address. The email address must end with messefrankfurt.com. If it does not, then it is most probably a phishing email. If it is an external email, make sure the email ends with the domain of the company you are expecting the email from. You can copy the email domain and go to the website to be sure.
- Beware of Urgent or Unusual Requests:
- Emails that pressure you to take immediate action, such as verifying your account or making a payment, are often scams.
- Examine Links Before Clicking:
- Hover over links to see the actual URL before clicking. If the link looks suspicious or unfamiliar, do not click it.

Warning – unofficial exhibitor directories
We would like to inform you that numerous suppliers such as Construct Data (FAIRGuide, Expo Guide) and Matic Verlagsgesellschaft mbH have issued so-called "unofficial exhibitor directories".
These directories have nothing to do with the official exhibitor directory as issued by Messe Frankfurt Middle East GmbH.aem
These companies are trying to get you to pay for an entry in their exhibitor directory using the subject heading of "Datenkontrolle" or “data update". If you want to appear only in the official exhibitor directory as issued by Messe Frankfurt Middle East GmbH, then please decline these offers.
The official exhibitor directory, as well as all online media, are strictly issued by Messe Frankfurt Middle East GmbH.
If you have been accepted as an exhibitor at Beautyworld Dubai, then rest assured that your basic entry will appear in the official exhibitor directory and the online exhibitor list.
You can find more information as well as a sample reply letter which you can use to react to an invoice from the suppliers of these so-called "unofficial exhibitor directories" on the home page of the AUMA, the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry.
